Maria, the Moscow-born, professional player is the first Russian woman playing full-time on the Ladies European Tour. When She went to the school, She dreamed to become the ballerina and to dance at the "Bolshoy Theatre". But everything changed. Maria started to play golf thanks to her Father at the age of twelve. She picked up her first golf club at the Golf Club "Karlovy Vary" Czech Republic, coached by Karl Scopovy. A few years later Maria played her first few tournaments, and this was when She really took a liking in the game. The following summers became booked with tournaments and Maria's game improved quickly.
